WOODLANDS and OAK COTTAGE are located on the site of a garden nursery/small holding in the village of Langford Budville in the lovely Vale of Taunton Deane on the Somerset/Devon border. The cottages are set between woodland and open countryside with panoramic views to the Blackdown Hills (designated an area of outstanding natural beauty) and Wellington Monument. The cottages provide an excellent location for a relaxing holiday and are a good base for exploring all of Somerset and Devon. There are walks/cycle rides directly from the property into a 180 acre Nature Reserve which is a mixture of mature deciduous woodlands and heathland, crisscrossed with rambling paths inviting leisurely exploration, or along country lanes with ancient hedgerows. Open all year and lovely even in the frost and snow.

Woodlands and Oak Cottage are holiday homes decorated and furnished to a high standard and are a complete escape from the noise, crowds and chaos of modern life.

Only 5 miles from the M5 (junction 26), located midway between the north and south coasts, with many tourist attractions within easy reach it makes an ideal touring base and does not suffer from congested roads locally. 9 miles from Taunton, 3 miles from Wellington, 26 miles from Exeter.

The village pub in Langford Budville is within walking distance and benefits from open fires and good food. There is a wide choice of good eating pubs nearby.

Children are made very welcome with toys, games, a play area with swings, slides, see-saw, climbing frame and plenty of space to play. A cot and high chair can be provided if required.

There is a large selection of outside games, sun loungers, DVDs and videos for guests to borrow during their stay. There are also gas-fuelled BBQs available to borrow.

The 6-person hot tub in its own summer house near the cottages is available and on all year round. Sheer luxury! There is also a swimming pool in the summer.
