Located adjoining a 220 acre nature reserve, it is ideal for those wishing to get away from it all to relax & unwind. 

Woodlands is a luxurious property located just outside the village of Langford Budville. Set between woodland and open countryside with panoramic views to the Blackdown Hills in the lovely vale of Taunton Deane on the Somerset/Devon border.

Freshly baked cakes and cream teas and tasty light lunches served in a nearby (2 minute walk) cafe and garden with far reaching views of the Blackdown Hills.  The village pub is within walking distance with real ales, open fires & good food (open all year).

About Woodlands Cottage

The house is spacious, warm and homely, furnished and decorated to a very high standard, with full central heating, wood burner, double glazing, whirlpool bath, smart TV, 2 bedrooms with king sized beds, 3rd bedroom with twin beds, free WiFi and everything a family needs for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday.  Relax in the 6 Person HOT TUB in a gazebo in the garden, even in winter.  Charcoal barbecue and outside seating with parasol for summer dinners outside. Pure luxury!!

DOWNSTAIRS:

  • Living area: A large warm, light and airy room with wooden floors, two skylights, four windows, wood burner, two settees and chair, wide screen TV with smart box, DVD player, electric keyboard, & a good selection of books and games.

    Patio doors lead out onto a sheltered, private patio area with lights in the evening, a perfect place for alfresco dining and then on to a large south facing  mature private garden where you will find the Hot Tub in a gazebo. Charcoal barbecue and garden furniture

  • Kitchen. The large beamed farmhouse style kitchen has solid oak kitchen units, tiled floor, a Corian top, a range style gas cooker with griddle plate, gas hobs, two ovens & a grill. Also a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, toaster, coffee machine, iron & ironing board, a wide variety of cooking utensils, pots, pans & dishes for six people plus extra for dinner guests.

  • Bedroom 1 with King Sized bed, (all bedding provided), carpet, TV with Freeview, wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite shower.

  • Bathroom: Relax in the Whirlpool bath in the family bathroom which has tiled floor, mirrors, sink & WC.

  • Cloakroom 1 with tiled floor, WC and sink.

UPSTAIRS:

  • Bedroom 2 spacious and comfortable room with double aspect windows looking over the woodland full of bluebells in spring on one side and open countryside on the other. A comfortable king size bed (all bedding provided), carpet, hanging rail, dressing table with mirror and separate full length mirror.

  • Separate shower room with towel rail.

  • Twin bedroom with two single beds (bedding provided), carpet, TV for freeview, wardrobe, unit with lots of books toys and games for younger visitors. Mirror.

  • Bathroom with toilet and sink. Tiled floor.

Children are made very welcome with toys and games and direct access to the play area of swings, slides, climbing wall and plenty of space to play.  Travel cot, high chair and stair gate provided.

A dog box containing spare bowls, throws and dog towels is provided.

Price includes Free WiFi, full bed linen with duvets, towels, tea towels, electricity, LPG gas for central heating and use of the 6 person private Hot Tub. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. No smoking.
